ELIDA LEE Ed.D, Director

Dr. Elida Lee is the Director for HR Organization Effectiveness. She has worked in the organization effectiveness and training field for over 20 years. As part of her current role, Elida consults and manages projects related to improving organizations in the areas of strategic planning, organization design, talent management, and leadership development. Additionally, Elida teaches classes in leadership and coaches individuals on competency development.
Dr. Lee studies the evolution of jobs and organizations and applies these studies to her consulting. She recently co-published a study for the Association of Research Libraries which explored talent management strategies utilized in research libraries.
She has presented at the 2014 American Association of University Professors annual meeting on the evolution of university work. Also in 2014 Dr. Lee co-presented at the College and University Personnel Association annual meeting on the power of data in organizational consulting.
ERIKA FRAHM, Senior Program Coordinator

Erika Frahm has been with the university for twelve years and joined the Organization Effectiveness team in Human Resources in 2013. She brings a breadth of experience in both managing teams and coordinating academic programming.
Erika served as Chair of the University Staff Council for three years and under her leadership she led an initiative to bring LyndaCampus to UT. She has held positions on many University-wide governance committees, including the Shared Services Executive Steering Committee and the Policy Office Advisory Group. Erika has served on both national and international executive search committees and was most recently selected to serve on the UT Presidential Search Committee. In addition to her leadership positions at UT Austin, Erika was also the Chair of the Career Planning and Redeployment Committee for all of UT System.
In her current role, Erika manages the CareerSmart Professional Development program and provides consulting services for strategic planning, change management, and employee engagement. She also coaches individuals and teams on political savvy, motivating others, negotiation, and strategic agility. Erika holds certifications in Linkage Change Management, FutureThink Leading Innovation, Meyers Briggs Type Instrument, and Korn Ferry Voices 360.
JULIE GILLESPIE, Training Specialist III
Julie Gillespie serves as a part-time organizational consultant and leadership coach. Prior to her current role, Julie spent 28 years with The University of Texas Police Department serving much of that time in leadership roles, including 10 years as a Captain. Julie is a proud University of Texas graduate with a BS in Education and also attended the FBI National Academy during her law enforcement career.
Julie is a certified Essential Life Coach and holds Franklin Covey certifications in "Championing Diversity," "Great Leaders, Great Teams and Great Results," and "Clarifying Your Team's Purpose and Strategy." She is also an MBTI® Certified Practitioner knowledgeable in the administration and interpretation of the Step I and Step II assessments.
