Helping the Campus Cope With the May 1st Tragedy
The entire university community has been affected by the stabbing that occurred on May 1st. For many, this is a time of confusion and grief. Staff and faculty have been working hard to meet the needs of students during this difficult time. The Healthpoint Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to help if you have questions about supporting students. We also provide support to you as you cope with your own reactions to this tragic event. We are available for staff and faculty counseling support, including department groups. Students needing counseling support may contact the Student Counseling and Mental Health Center at 512-471-3515.
