The mission of the Asian/Asian American Faculty and Staff Association (AAAFSA) at The University of Texas at Austin is to support, celebrate, and empower Asian and Asian American faculty and staff by fostering a community that provides opportunities for networking, communication, and growth -- both personal and professional.

Black Faculty & Staff Association

We serve as a unified voice to university administration about the concerns and needs of African-American faculty, staff, and students on campus. Our mission is to advocate progress through the promotion of professional development, mentoring, networking, wellness, scholarships and cultural programs that emphasize the legacy and traditions of the African-American community.

Our mission is to support the General Faculty and its elected representative body, the Faculty Council, in their roles in the governance of the University.

Hispanic Faculty / Staff Association

The Hispanic Faculty/Staff Association (HFSA) is a campus-wide organization that provides opportunities for social and cultural interaction among Hispanic/Latino as well as other interested professionals at The University of Texas at Austin. We encourage communication, support networking, serve as a voice for cultural and educational issues, and promote employment and career opportunities.

Pride and Equity Faculty Staff Association

PEFSA is a University Resource Group established in the Fall of 2006 to promote the interests of LGBTQ+ and allied faculty and staff at UT Austin. All UT faculty and staff are welcome to join. Help us to make a difference!

Staff Council

The UT Staff Council is a collective voice for classified administrative and professional workers. We support a variety of activities and initiatives to improve the quality of life and effectiveness of the university’s dedicated and valuable staff. It’s never too late to get involved!
