This monthly 60–90-minute virtual Strengthening Relationships presentation series was created to have speakers share their professional expertise with the UT Austin community on ways to strengthen relationships and build community. This year, the presentations will run from November 2025 - June 2026.

April: "Supporting Neurodivergent Family Members: Practical Tools for Communication and Connection," presented by Amy E. Eskelsen, LICSW, LCSW-S, MBA on Wednesday, April 15th from noon to 1 p.m.
Families often care deeply about one another—and still struggle to feel heard and understood. This one-hour webinar provides a clear, accessible introduction to neurodivergence and how it can impact family communication. Participants will learn practical, everyday strategies to improve understanding, reduce conflict, and support neurodivergent family members with empathy and clarity. Designed for caregivers and family members, this session focuses on realistic tools that can be used right away.
