Building our Future: The Financing and Creation of a Sustainable World

Join the GSLI and campus partners for an evening of impact investing and entrepreneurship! Building Our Future will start with a resource fair for students interested in building or funding sustainable businesses. A dinner and networking session will follow. The evening will culminate with a keynote Impact Chat with legendary venture capitalists (and dynamic duo!) Mitch Kapor and Freada Kapor Klein, PhD. Mitch Kapor founded Lotus Development Corporation, while Freada founded the nonprofit Project Include and was a driving force in increasing diversity in the tech sector. Together, they founded Kapor Capital and the Kapor Center to invest in start-ups focused on reducing gaps in communities of color and low-income communities.
