Patients age 40 and over may schedule their mammogram for any open appointment throughout the year, but if you want to take part in the University-wide Mammo Mixer, schedule your mammogram during our special UT Health Austin Mammo Mixer and receive a special thank you.
How do I schedule my screening mammogram at UT Health Austin?
Call UT Health Austin's Access Center at 1-512-495-5300, press option 4, and then option 3.There are two ways you may schedule your mammogram screening at UT Health Austin:
- Have your primary care provider submit an order for a screening mammogram to UT Health Austin by FAX at 512-495-5680 or;
- If you wish to self-refer, bring the name and contact information of your primary care physician, who will receive and review your results for your visit.
UT Health Austin Imaging offers the latest in 3D mammography technology for screening mammography for clearer images and more accurate results.
Additional activities are subject to availability and are not available during non-Mammo Mixer times. Additionally, patients with orders for bone densitometry may also schedule their Bone Density screenings as well.
