Managing Up, Across, and Forward

This training focuses on being intentional in your relationship with your supervisor and your colleagues, as well as purposefully developing your own growth and career path. This training is a mix of presentation, self-evaluation, and multiple small group discussions to explore what these concepts look like in practice.

We recommend taking one of CMDR's foundational classes before you take this deeper dive class. Only take one foundational course, depending on your role. If you are an HR partner and do employee relationship work, take HR Essentials: Conflict and Communication. If you are a supervisor, take Leadership Skills in Conflict Management. All other staff and faculty should take Successfully Navigating Conflict.
