This talk is for people who want to learn more about what neurodivergence is, the process to diagnose, how to identify accommodations, and how to apply accommodations and modifications in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define what is neurotypical and neurodivergent and provide examples of conditions that are considered neurodivergent.
  • Understand why a person may choose to pursue a formal diagnosis and understand the diagnosis process and cost
  • Understand and identify how different conditions show up at the workplace.
  • Define and identify workplace accommodations and understand the decision of why accommodations may be requested by a worker.
