Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum to celebrate everything feathered, furred, smooth and scaled at Texas Wildlife Day, featuring hands-on activities led by local nature groups and the museum’s education team. 

  • Explore horns and antlers, feathers and fur 
  • Meet raptors, turtles and snakes
  • Create bat puppets and explore Texas nature symbols
  • Discover bugs with fun activities
  • Learn about different animal tracks 
  • Explore historical to present-day Texas wildlife in the museum’s exhibits

All activities take place on Saturday, Feb. 1 between 10am-3pm and are included with museum admission. (Admission is always free for UT staff, faculty and students with a current ID).
