How to Pledge

The 2025 campaign runs through October 31.

The Hearts of Texas is an online payroll giving only campaign. We cannot accept cash or check donations. Donors may follow the instructions below to give online through a payroll deduction: 

Online

1. Log in to the Hearts of Texas pledge form.

2. Payment Options: 

Returning Donors:

  • Show me my gift from last year, or
  • Have the form filled out with last year’s gift information for me.  Please make sure to verify the agency code since they change each year.

New Donors:

  • Select a payment option:
    • For monthly donations (based on payroll paychecks received in the year) select: Payroll Deduction

3. Select how you wish to distribute your gift.

  • Search for a charity from the 2025 SECC Directory (or mini Capital Area Directory) and enter it in the “Agency Code” box.
  • Enter the monthly amount you wish to have deducted.
  • A minimum $2 a month donation is required.
  • Deductions are based on payroll paychecks received in a year.
  • Faculty members: please note pledge deductions will also be included on paychecks issued over the summer.

4. Acknowledgement. Select the type of acknowledgement you wish to receive; otherwise, your gift will remain anonymous.

5. Once you have completed the above sections of the form, you are ready to click “submit your gift“. If you do not hit submit, your pledge will not be processed.

6. Print out a copy of your pledge form. This will serve as your receipt.
