Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum for Día de los Huesos (Day of the Bones) on Saturday, Nov. 2! Discover the secrets of skulls and bones in animal skeletons, and bring bones and teeth for in-person identification by a paleontologist (ID sessions take place from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.). Enjoy hands-on activities like decorating paper dinosaur skulls and creating paper marigolds and mariposas (butterflies). Become a work of art with face painting, and catch a performance by The University of Texas Mariachi at 10:15 a.m. Visitors can complete a scavenger hunt for the chance to win a special prize (while supplies last)! All Día de los Huesos activities take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and are included with museum admission. (Admission is always free with a UT ID!)

The material presented will be non-partisan and focused on leadership: how do elections affect the practice of leadership? We will analyze where candidates change policies, and where they don’t.

In this free webinar, HDO's Program Director Mary Rose, Ph.D. will guide participants through an exploration of the social science behind group work with the following key questions in mind: • Under what circumstances do we perform better in the presence of others, and when do groups get in our way? • Are some tasks better suited than others to teamwork?
