Time: 10:30 a.m. to noon
Location: RRH 5.210 Special Events Room
Spring is a time to leverage the introspection of Winter, let go of what no longer serves us, and plant new intentions to mindfully cultivate meaningful experiences to come.
This 75-minute IN PERSON mindfulness workshop includes a gentle hatha yoga practice appropriate for all levels and ability, breathwork, journaling, and guided visualization. We practice intentional silence during this session to enjoy the stress reducing benefits that pausing and reflecting can bring to our body and being.
The retreat will be facilitated by Geeti Shirazi Mahajan, LCSW-S, one of the counselors at the Employee Assistance Program. Geeti is also certified as a Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT).
The workshop will be held in person in the Rowling Hall Special Events Room (RRH 5.210) on Wednesday, March 4th, from 10:30am-12:00pm.

Change—whether planned or unexpected—can unsettle even the most experienced professionals. This session offers practical tools to help you stay steady, communicate clearly, and remain connected to what matters most during times of transition.
Through a blend of reflection, discussion, and actionable strategies, you’ll explore how to:
• Maintain balance and perspective when navigating uncertainty
• Communicate in ways that support trust and stability across teams and roles
• Align your work and responses with your values to stay grounded through change
Drawing on her experience in leadership development and psychology, Dr. Callandrillo will help participants at all levels strengthen their ability to adapt thoughtfully and lead with clarity, even when they’re not the ones setting the direction.
