The set of thirteen lectures on fundamental concepts for AI literacy, as well as the ethical and societal implications of AI technologies, were given by faculty from across the university. Recordings of these lectures are now available for you enjoy and learn from at any time. Only your curiosity and willingness to explore are needed – no prior technical knowledge required.

In a fast paced world, it can be difficult to bring ourselves into the moment and slow down. Mindfulness practices are simple yet powerful techniques to increase our connection to our immediate experience. These practices have very practical benefits in our lives such as improved concentration, increased energy, and better overall mood.  EAP is offering guided mindfulness practices via the Zoom platform each Tuesday from 5-5:15 p.m and each Thursday from Noon-12:15 p.m.

Escape the blistering summer temperatures and join Landmarks for an air-conditioned docent-led tour of art in Bass Concert Hall on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The collection features striking examples of postwar and contemporary sculpture from influential artists including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Jim Dine, and David Hare, among others.

In Texas Exes August Lunchtime Lecture, Dr. Suzanne Seriff will take a global look at the many ways in which traditional, hand made arts function in communities to educate, advocate and celebrate in times of joy and times of trouble, alike. Dr. Seriff draws on over 40 years in the field as an award-winning anthropologist and museum curator to bring you stories from Morocco to Mexico to Mexia, Texas.
