Join Texas Science & Natural History Museum for Día de los Huesos (Day of the Bones) on Saturday, Nov. 2! Discover the secrets of skulls and bones in animal skeletons, and bring bones and teeth for in-person identification by a paleontologist (ID sessions take place from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.). Enjoy hands-on activities like decorating paper dinosaur skulls and creating paper marigolds and mariposas (butterflies). Become a work of art with face painting, and catch a performance by The University of Texas Mariachi at 10:15 a.m. Visitors can complete a scavenger hunt for the chance to win a special prize (while supplies last)! All Día de los Huesos activities take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and are included with museum admission. (Admission is always free with a UT ID!)
